Kingspan® OPTIM-R is a next generation insulation that features rigid vacuum insulation panels (VIP) with a microporous core, which is evacuated, encased and sealed in a thin, gas–tight envelope. It’s an ultra-thin insulation solution with outstanding R-values. At 1” thickness, the R-value is R28 and at 2” thickness, the R-value is R57!
Ideal for roofing or balcony and terrace systems, Optim-R meets increasingly stringent energy codes and is rated for use in major roofing membrane systems, so this total roofing solution will meet your project building’s unique needs and requirements.
Optim-R is highly thermal efficient, as much as 5x greater than other commonly used building insulation materials. Its ultra thin design offers a perfect solution for when you know you’re going to run out of space or for when insulation space is tight.
